My third graders made bags with snacks, drinks, and kind notes to have "room service" during family teacher conferences to brighten and fuel teachers! They were so proud to work so hard to help others.

Every time I see my friend Maz in the hallway, I say Hi and give him a high five

My neighbor is a cancer patient going through radiation treatments. The treatments are severely affecting him. When I looked out my door this morning I see that his trash was not out for pickup. I walked over and took it to the curb.

I saw that some of my teammates on my dance team were having trouble remembering the new dance moves, so I decided to go over the new parts with them and by the end of the practice they got the new dance moves down!

I began by gathering books from library sales, used bookstores, and my own collection. Then, I researched little libraries across the DFW area and started filling them with books, ensuring that more people could access the joy of reading. I deeply believe in the power of literacy and the life-changing impact of book accessibility. Through this effort, I’m not just sharing stories—I’m sharing love, one book at a time.

Every day I hold the door for my class and offer high fives as they walk by.
